pepper spraying your prospects
---------------------------------
Very Important Note DO NOT SKIP:
Look… I assume you've probably seen a cold email template that told you to mention your price upfront.
Maybe even heard someone "teach" it with confidence.
But has anyone actually stopped to think about how insane that is?
Seriously.
Imagine you’re walking down the street and a stranger sprints up to you, panting, and yells:
"GIVE ME FORTY DOLLARS!"
Are you reaching for your wallet?
Or are you reaching for your pepper spray?
Exactly.
But if that same person showed you a handbag first... and explained it has a fingerprint-activated titanium lock that literally nobody else on the planet has... and then they told you it was forty bucks?
THEN the price makes sense. THEN $40 feels like nothing.
Cold email works the exact same way.
Price before value is just a number with no context… and a number with no context always reads as too high.
Oh and there's another problem nobody talks about…
Gmail sees dollar figures and specific numbers from strangers and goes "spam."
Because that's what scammers do.
The fix is sitting down and actually thinking like a human being talking to another human being.
What does this person believe before they open your email?
What do they need to feel before you ask for a single cent?
THAT is the whole craft.
And for the love of all things holy, start listening to people who actually understand how to write a cold email.
Take care <3
